I don’t think those were meant to go together!🤣

Pretty obvious those were two completely separate things this Goodwill was trying to sell, but if they were supposed to go together, it wouldn’t give a very good impression of army girlfriends!😳

A lot of things don’t go together. One really important example is wanting both our lifestyle and God’s blessing. 

Judges‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬ says, “And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.”

‭‭

Verse 6 says, “And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.”

Israel turned their back on God yet again, and God again lovingly brought the consequences they needed. 

They desperately wanted easier circumstances, but they desperately needed God. They needed to repent.
