Sometimes a substitute just won’t work!

I was looking for coffee to make this morning, and at first this was the best I could find. I found some more and then my wife showed me that we had whole big thing of it. I’ve had a few cups of instant coffee over the years, but it’s not a very good substitute for the real thing

Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭says, “To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.”

Paul’s exact growth experience won’t be the same as ours, but there really is no substitute for time with Jesus. Have you spent any time with Him today? Maybe read a little extra Bible right now, spend a little extra time in prayer, and let the Holy Spirit lead you today.
