Good or Godly?

We all have a lot of things to do. The key is to schedule things and pick things that are Godly not just good. 

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭19‬:‭49‬-‭50‬ ‭says, “When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them: according to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.”

The Israelites made sure Joshua got a land inheritance in the Promised Land. No doubt they wanted their leader to have good land, but they wanted their choice to be led by God most of all (“according to the word of the LORD”). 

That’s a good starting point for all of our decisions as well.
