Which ball hits the ground first?

Classic experiment: one ball drops straight down. The other one gets pushed out and travels to the side as it falls.

Addison and Brooklyn were divided about which one would hit first, and they were both right because they hit at the exact same time!

All it takes to fall onto a patio is gravity, and all it takes to go the right way in life is to let God lead, constantly, every day, every decision.

Joshua‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭says, “But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth-aven, on the east side of Beth-el, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.”

Joshua was an amazing leader as Israel entered and conquered the Promised Land, but in this second battle, he failed to seek God’s leadership. What made sense shouldn’t have, and they were defeated because of sin in the camp.

If we want to follow God, we need no sin and no self reliance in the way.

We shouldn’t assume we’re right with God; we should ask Him.

‭‭

Let’s allow God to lead our decisions, not selfishness, self reliance, emotion, or any other agenda.

Today’s Bible reading is Joshua 7.
