Pray before you eat…actually pray before you do anything!

Joshua‬ ‭9‬:‭14‬ ‭says, “And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD.”

A group we call the Gibeonites came and tricked Joshua by saying they were from a long ways off and could harmlessly make a peace treaty with the people of Israel as Israel conquered the Promised Land. Israel was tricked, but God was not. If only they would have asked God about this decision before moving forward!

We make hundreds of decisions each day. A lot of them really don’t matter, but many of them really do. In fact, the decisions we make make us. 

When’s the last time you made a decision before asking God about what He thought?
