It’s time to step up

The Pole Steeple hike was recommended by a bunch of people, and it didn’t disappoint. But after Jen and I (and Cleo) accidentally left the trail near the top, we had to step up literally as we climbed almost vertical steps to get to the top. Turns out the actual trail is much easier! Still not sure where we lost the trail, but we stepped up and made it to the amazing view at the top. 

Deuteronomy‬ ‭23‬:‭9‬ ‭says, “When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.”

When going into battle, it was time to step up and get sin out of their lives. 

Really, that’s what they were supposed to do all the time anyway, and so are we. 

There are times like the one mentioned here where it’s especially important for us to step up, but it’s even better to step up sooner than later. 

We should all recognize God has big things for us all to be involved in and step up and be ready.
