Jen and I had a really good time trying out e-bikes the other day…until the chain snapped and I had no power! The company was great and got me a new bike ASAP. It was a good reminder to stay connected to our source of power.
God gives us power, and the truth of God’s Word empowers us in many ways as well.
Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
We don’t have to know everything to be empowered by God’s Word. He has wisely chosen what to reveal and what to not include in the Bible.
2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”
Sometimes we don’t need to lament what we don’t know; we need to follow what we do know.
