If we knew everything God knows, we’d always want what God wants

Sometimes the path has obstacles that need to be dealt with, but that doesn’t mean we’re going the wrong way.

Jen did a great job of scaring that (non venomous) snake away. She actually nailed it on the head with a rock on the first toss!

Sometimes we just have to keep walking after we deal with obstacles, and we should definitely keep going when we are following God’s plan.

Deuteronomy‬ ‭4‬:‭32‬-‭35‬ ‭says, “For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.”

Following God is not always easy; there are often obstacles to overcome. But if we believe we are following God to the best of our ability, let’s keep going. After all, God is awesome. If we don’t understand what He’s doing, we should still trust and follow since He has proven Himself over and over again.

Today’s Bible reading is Deuteronomy 4.
