If we fail to listen, we’ll often fail in a lot of ways.

We had a wonderful week of Vacation Bible School! The kids got to participate in a lot of fun activities and object lessons.

It seemed like most of what I called volunteers up to do was to fail! No matter how well they listened and followed my instructions, sometimes they were just meant to not be able to do it I(’ll be nice and include only the picture of me failing to pull those 2 intertwined books apart).

They were a great example of how to listen during a VBS, and Numbers 36 gives us a great example of the power of listening and working together as well.

Numbers 36:5 says, “And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.”

They had a concern and sought guidance.

Moses heard them out.

They sought the Lord’s leading together.

That’s a great example of listening! Let’s hear people out and let’s seek the truth, the best together.

Today’s Bible reading is Numbers 36.
