Leave it to physics to once again illustrate Bible truth!

You might not like science as much as I do, but this is still pretty amazing! Because the water has to go around the ball, it actually creates a low pressure affect that keeps the ball in the stream even though the string tries to pull it away. To me, it’s a fun reminder of what it can take to stay close to something.

Numbers‬ ‭10‬:‭35‬-‭36‬ ‭says, “And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee. And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.”

‭‭

We could kinda paraphrase Moses’ statement this way: When we move, go before us and fight our battles before we even get there. And when we stop, stay with us.

Pretty good prayer!

I think the question for you and me is Are we willing to do what it takes to stay close to God? When He moves, do we move? When He stays, do we stay?

Today’s Bible verse is Numbers 10.
