Fruit that remains

John 15:16 says, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

There  are a lot of empty, worthless things we can invest our lives into, but thankfully there are also things that produce fruit that lasts.

We are thrilled to bring Addison and Brooklyn to the Edge Christian Camp in Virginia this week! We’re praying for God to do great things in each of our lives.

When we’re involved in the things that God is using, real, lasting fruit will come.

Numbers‬ ‭17‬:‭8‬ ‭says, “And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.”

‭‭

To confirm that God was behind Aaron, God not only made his rod bud; He also made it miraculously produce fruit. The rod was placed into the Ark of the Covenant as a reminder of this fruit.

Let’s live most for what matters most. Let’s live lives that produce fruit that remains.

Today’s Bible reading is Numbers 17.
