Do beach balls float?

Depends on if they’re inflated or not!

What are we filled with?

If we’re filled with contentment and joy, we can stay afloat no matter what. But complaining will bring us down even on the best of days.

Numbers‬ ‭11‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭says, “And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: but now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.”

Huh?!?

Discontentment and complaining can make God’s plan and even supernatural, miraculous food seem bad and an awful situation like slavery in Egypt seem good.

There will always be something to complain about. And there will always be reasons to choose joy and contentment.

That choice makes a big difference in our lives each day.

Today’s Bible verse is Numbers 11.
