May God bring the increase! And may God get the glory!

We’re excited to (finally) get our garden planted and look forward to a good harvest!

The Bible uses planting analogies for our work for God sometimes too.

1 Corinthians 3:6 says, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

We need to do our part, but we should always stay thankful to God for all the increase, the harvest, the results we see.

Leviticus 2:1-3 says, “And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon: 2 And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: 3 And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.”

The Israelites were invited to bring a meal or grain offering to the Lord to show their gratitude for what He has provided.

Let’s always remember that eternal results can only come from God, and let’s stay thankful for everything God gives us each day.

Today’s Bible reading is Leviticus 2.
