God’s way is the best way
I had the privilege to preach about choosing joy during life’s highs and lows tonight.
God is always up to something good, and it’s a privilege to be able to follow His way. Let’s remember that His way is the best way so that when Satan tries to get us to go a different way, we’ll be able to recognize the scam right away.
Leviticus 18:1-5 says, “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God. After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.”
God’s way is the best way. Let’s get to know Him well enough that we won’t fall for any cheap imitations that come our way.
Today’s Bible reading is Leviticus 18.
