Dew certain things go together? 

Do you think cream soda and Mountain Dew go together?

I say yes! After trying this new flavor, I’m a fan! It’s not very healthy (at all), but it is tasty! 

Leviticus 11:1-2 says, “And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.”

I’m glad we aren’t under these ceremonial laws today (I like bacon!), but following what God tells us to do separates us from non Christians and separates us to God. 

In John 14:15, Jesus says, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Two things that should always go together are Christians and obedience to God. 

Turns out there were a lot of health benefits to the ceremonial law, but the point was their obedience and separation to God. 

We don’t have to understand all of the why, but we should obey because of Who is leading us. 

Today’s Bible reading is Leviticus 11-12.
