Show us the way
Caught this view of the sunrise this morning: Just a few rays cutting through, laying a “path” on the ground. I’d like to say it’s leading to our church, but I guess it’s more leading toward our shed!
Obviously this is just a fun picture, but God does lead us plainly if we are willing to follow.
And He tells us that following Him will set us apart.
Exodus 28:1-2 says, “And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.”
They would be set apart as priests to God. We as Christians aren’t priests but we are set apart to God.
1 Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
Are you following God or blending in? Is there anything about your life that can be described as set apart?
Today’s Bible reading is Exodus 28.
