Rejecting God’s commandments means rejecting God
This poster is up on the wall at the Christian school I teach at, but there’s a lot of debate about whether or not the 10 commandments should be up in public spaces as well.
While I’m not in favor of forcing Christianity on anyone, I also realize 2 things:
Each of the commandments would make our society better if followed, and often our society is anti God while demanding “neutrality” from Christians.
Exodus 20:2-3 says, “I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
Rejecting God’s commandments means rejecting God. I’m all for displaying the 10 commandments, and perhaps the most effective “display” is for each of us that are Christians to consistently live for God and show everyone how amazing He is.
Today’s Bible reading is Exodus 20.
