Is it worth fighting for?
Saw that bird in the middle fighting off 2 other birds just to stay on that shelf. It wasn’t his. He wouldn’t stay long. But he was fighting for it.
It’s easy to fight for things that aren’t worth it.
Sometimes it can be tempting to want to work to get rid if consequences instead if wanting to be genuinely right with God.
Exodus 8:31-32 says, “And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one. And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.”
As soon as the consequences were gone, Pharaoh changed his mind. Terrible for a wicked king to do that and even worse for a child of God!
Let’s fight to keep our relationship with God right not just to get out of consequences.
Today’s Bible reading is Exodus 8.
