When we want to go back to the good old days

It’s funny what triggers a trip down memory lane! That little sticker on our ironing board was put on by the moving company over 9 years ago when we moved from Texas to Virginia. Moving isn’t my favorite thing to do, but it is fun to look back sometimes.

Looking back should help us be ready to move forward, not freeze us in place longing for the good old days.

Job‬ ‭29‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭says, “Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, Oh that I were as in months past, As in the days when God preserved me;”

Good days are good, but hard days are necessary. And God always sees us, loves us, and uses everything for His glory and our good.

Today’s Bible reading is Job 29.
