When the best is yet to come…but we can’t see it

There really are some beautiful mountains over there, you just can’t see them without shining some light on them.

Sometimes we’ve got to shine some light (from God’s Word) on the discouraging situations in our lives as well.

Job‬ ‭17‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭says, “My days are past, my purposes are broken off, Even the thoughts of my heart. They change the night into day: The light is short because of darkness.”

‭‭

Darkness can’t stop the light, but we need to let the light and hope shine even when we don’t want to. Discouragement and depression can block out the light…if we let them. But God’s still the light even when everything seems dark. We need to remember. We need to shine some light, some Bible truth, into our lives, especially when we’re discouraged.

Today’s Bible reading is Job 17.
