Is it in you?

That’s often been Gatorade’s motto to push athletes to see what they’re capable of. 

It’s exciting to push our exercise limits, but it’s tragic to go through life seeing only what’s in us, what we’re capable of on our own. 

Genesis‬ ‭41‬:‭16‬ ‭says, “And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

Joseph was about to interpret pharaoh’s dream, get out of prison, and pretty much see his entire set of circumstances do a 180. And he knew it wasn’t based on what was in him, but based on God. 

Who do we give the credit for our success to?

And are we even attempting anything that is beyond us? Living a life of faith means doing things  we can only do through God, not through ourselves alone.
