Do you know what big snowflakes mean?

I’ve always heard big snowflakes like the ones we had this morning mean that the snow is about to end…and sure enough the snow ended just a bit later. 

I like knowing what’s coming with the weather, but it’s way more valuable to prepare for what’s coming in our lives.

Genesis 35:1-2 says, “And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother. 2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:”

It was time for Jacob and his family to step up. Actually they should’ve been doing those things all along, but this was a good reminder. 

I don’t know what God has planned for you today or tomorrow or the rest of 2026. But I do know it will require you to step up, to step into that amazing future. God loves to help us but wants us to respond to Him.
