Me too! Include me! Notice me!

The girls just got new exercise mats to practice their ballet stretches and exercises on, and Cleo is not going to be left out! She even did a couple pretty good stretches on “her mat” (she does a good downward facing dog stretch!🤣)

Cleo will do a lot to get noticed and to get attention. Most of it is good and silly; some of it not so much. Kind of reminds me of humans!

Genesis 29:9-10 says, “And while he yet spake with them, Rachel came with her father's sheep: for she kept them. 10 And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.”

I love Jacob’s response! 

When you want to get noticed, serve! When you see what God’s doing for you, serve!

When you’re running for your life, just looking to survive but also hoping for something good right in the middle of it, serve! 

We never get joy by focusing on ourselves. 

It’s tempting to look at what we can get out of a relationship, but it’s beneficial to focus on what we can give to someone else instead.
