You can’t please everyone all the time

Well…maybe you can if it’s a beloved Christmas performance of the Nutracker  done by an amazing group of young people! For most other things, we usually won’t keep everyone happy all the time.

I sure am proud of Addison and Brooklyn! They had a show Thursday, two Saturday, and one more coming on Sunday afternoon. They are doing an amazing job!

It’s been busy but a wonderful, fun experience for them. It’s encouraging to be around happy people cheering these young people on as well.

Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭17‬ says, “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

In context, the woman pictured Israel and the dragon is Satan. Satan doesn’t like those who follow Jesus, whether that’s Israel or anyone else. He makes special war against the Jewish people but also against all who name the name of Jesus and follow Him.

And many people who reject Jesus also reject those of us who follow Jesus.

We can’t please everyone all the time, but we can please our Savior today and every day.
