Do you hate winter?

I LOVE winter, but even if you hate all this cold weather, you gotta love warm fires and hot chocolate and all, right?!?

Maybe I love winter; maybe you hate it. Maybe you don’t feel that strongly about it one way or the other

Is it ok to hate?

Proverbs‬ ‭28‬:‭16‬ ‭says, “The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: But he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.”

A prince (or really any leader) that lacks understanding is going to hold everyone under their leadership back. 

But mainly, I want to focus on the end of the verse where it talks about hating covetousness. We should hate sin because God hates sin. And we should hate sin because it holds us and others back from the best life that God has planned for us.

So is it OK to hate? I think it should concern us if we don’t feel strongly about things that God hates.
