Context matters  

Walked into the kitchen and saw THAT staring up at me! I know it’s part of what’s left of Cleo’s stuffed toy, but it was still creepy to see it staring up at me. 

Sure did help to know what it is though!

If we miss the context, we’ll often miss everything else as well. 

Revelation‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬ ‭says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”

What’s the book of Revelation about anyway? 

A lot of the book of Revelation can be mysterious and confusing…especially if we miss its focus: rRevealing Jesus to us. 

A lot of things in our lives can be confusing too unless we remember that it’s all to bring glory to God and let Jesus shine through our lives.
