“But isn’t Christianity too controlling?”

I mean, the Bible’s even open to the 10 commandments of all verses! And it’s in a church! 

I doubt that any of us like to be told what to do and not do, but it turns out a relationship with God goes way beyond a list of dos and don’ts. 

Psalm‬ ‭146‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭says, “Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.”

God gave us that life. He gave us our being! So it’s actually becoming truly alive, living as who we really are when we live in a close relationship with God. That’s freedom, not control!
