Are you any good at guessing what’s in a present or a stocking before Christmas Day? 

We open our stocking stuffers on Christmas Eve, so the girls are really excited for that!

Christmas is a good time for hidden surprises, but for most of life, a coverup isn’t even necessary. 

Proverbs‬ ‭30‬:‭20‬ says, “Such is the way of an adulterous woman; She eateth, and wipeth her mouth, And saith, I have done no wickedness.”

No shame. No conviction. Just the most basic of coverups and continuing life as usual. That’s a good way to stay in our sin and even go deeper no matter what that sin is.

But Jesus came to offer us a better way. 

John 10:10 says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

We don’t need a cover-up. We need forgiveness. We need Jesus as our Savior, and we need the daily help that only He can offer.
