All my Christmas presents were good, but these sunglasses were Goodr! 

Jen always does a great job getting me Christmas presents, and this was definitely a great one this year! 

The grammar’s a little iffy, but the sunglasses are great (good, gooder?🤷‍♂️). 

Revelation‬ ‭18‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ says, “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”

I remember being in New York City on a missions trip years ago and hearing a street preacher yelling that America the great is fallen based on these verses.

There is no context or accurate interpretation that equates Babylon to America in those verses, but there are many lessons that apply here, there, and everywhere. 

The fall of ‭‭Babylon, of the world’s ungodly system, will be a shock to many in the end times. 

That doesn’t surprise me because even today many people believe their own way or the world’s way is better (goodr?) than God’s way.

No matter how good we think our way is, God’s way is better for our future, for each decision today, for our family, for everything. Let’s be quick to recognize that truth and respond to it today.
