We want to do all we can to help people see Jesus and the cross

Jen recently had the great idea to put some lights on our church cross for the Christmas season. I love the meaning of Christmas with Jesus coming to earth and the meaning of why He came to earth shown by the cross.

We want to do all we can to help people see Jesus and the cross, but in the end it’s a choice each person has to make.

1 John 1:1-2 says, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)”

See for yourself. John was an eyewitness, but don’t just take his word for it. See for yourself.

Maybe you think something like, “Why don’t I ever see God answer my prayers?”

Make the choice to pray…and keep praying. Respond to what you already know of Jesus and watch Him work more.

Maybe you wonder, “Why don’t I ever see God work in my life?” Don’t expect His blessing on your lifestyle. Live His way and watch Him bless.
