Things that are different are not the same 

Soda water looks good and refreshing but actually taste terrible! I know some people like it, but to me it tastes like Sprite if you took away all the flavor!

Some things look good but lack real substance, at least by themselves. 

Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭says, “The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;”

The artifacts and symbolic observances of the Old Testament were great at pointing ahead to the Savior but were never a replacement for Him. 

Things that are different are not the same, and we shouldn’t confuse symbols with substance. 

Spiritual to do lists or boxes to check often miss the point. 

Just because we’re busy doesn’t mean we’re genuinely following Jesus. 

Busyness should never replace relationship, and stuff should never replace substance.
