Some places, you just don’t have to knock 

We rang a few doorbells and knocked on some doors trick-or-treating last week, but one thing’s for sure: At your own house you can go in without knocking!

And that’s the kind of access Jesus gives us in salvation and prayer. 

Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬-‭22‬ ‭says, “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; and having an high priest over the house of God; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”

Through prayer, we can walk right into God’s presence like we belong there…because we do. 

It’s all because of Jesus not because of us, and it’s a privilege that we should never waste.
