What’s it mean?
I really enjoyed the sunrise this morning as it spread across so much of the sky! Some would say “red in the morning sailors take warning,” but it hasn’t rained so far today.
Sometimes things are there just to help us look up.
Hebrews 1:1-2 says, “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;”
Before starting my devotions this morning, I asked God to show me something from the Bible, something I needed for the day. I often pray something like that and usually hope to find some practical piece of advice or guidance, but this morning through Hebrews 1 and some great music I listened to afterward, what God showed me was Himself, His majesty and glory. Nothing “practical” or “applicable” but exactly what I needed for today.
We can glorify our problems or glorify our accomplishments, but we need to glorify our God!
