For a complete sunrise you need sunshine, of course, but you also need some clouds to reflect it. Clouds can seem unfortunate but actually help make a sunrise even better. 

The difficulties and temptations we face don’t have to ruin us. They can be the things that let our testimony and love for God shine through and shine bright. 

Psalm‬ ‭119‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭says, “O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! 6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.”

All, not some 

We need to follow the Holy Spirit in all areas of our lives, not just some. 

And we need to follow Him all the time not just when things are nice and sunny. 

That’s when our light will shine brightest.
