Enjoy the good

Apparently there were a lot of big crowds gathered today! I gotta admit I enjoyed Chambersburg’s Apple Fest way more than anything political that was going on!

All politics aside, we can probably find things to be upset about even on regular days, and we can find things to enjoy even on regular days. I will say days when I get apple cider and an Olympia caramel apple are extra easy to find something good, but there’s always good stuff to notice and appreciate!

Titus‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭says, “Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

Some people back then were talking a good game as if they truly followed God but were making everything up as they went and finding fault everywhere they went. If God says it’s good, it’s good. 

God has given us so many good things to enjoy. Let’s keep ourselves pure through Jesus and enjoy the pure blessings He has for us. 

Nothing can steal our joy, but we sure do give it away often enough sadly.
