Well, the rapture didn’t happen today!

I don’t even know how the rumors started that the rapture was supposed to happen today, but since nobody knows but God when that event will take place, I was confident it was not going to be today. I believe Jesus could return anytime and call us to heaven. I believe we need to be ready. But I also believe we need to base our views on every single issue on what the Bible says, not what’s trending.  

One of the biggest reasons I do these daily devotions is to help each of us see God for who He truly is and praise Him for how good He is. The real, true God is definitely worth following and praising. 

Psalm‬ ‭107‬:‭31‬ ‭says, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

We don’t need to ride the wave of emotions that comes with every trendy thought about Christianity. God and His Word reveal the truth that God is true and truly amazing and good. We need to praise Him for it and get busy living a lifestyle of praise.
