Sometimes it’s hard to see the way
It was a long, foggy walk to church this morning, but we made it!🤣
We have a great morning, and I enjoy the reminder that sometimes the day is foggy; sometime life and the future are what’s foggy and unclear.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 says, “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
We can know perfectly that Jesus will come suddenly even though we don’t know when.
Jesus spends time making it clear that He will come again but never when He will come again.
So we need to always be ready. In fact, we have a lot of work to do until Jesus comes.
Verse 14 gives great things to do as we live around other people while waiting for Jesus: “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.”
I’m sure that list will keep us all busy and challenge us all to look to Jesus for help.
