Maybe a hug, maybe a handshake, but always a restored relationship. Sometimes that’s easier than others. It really just depends on how big the offense is (thankfully the girls are good, just helping me act out what reconciliation looks like!).
2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”
We each have a lifetime of sin and offense against Jesus, and yet He still wants to reconcile us to Himself, to give us a right relationship with Him if we come to Him in faith. He reconciles us to Him and doesn’t impute our sins and trespasses to us. He separates our sins from us, wipes our account clean, and calls us His friends.
What an amazing message to receive! What an amazing message to share with others!
