Can you see it???

Neither can I! Woke up about 6:15 the other morning and saw that early risers would be able to see a couple of planets and the crescent moon all right beside each other. Apparently “early risers” meant earlier than 6:15 ‘cause I couldn’t see anything!

It’s easy for the night sky to get overpowered by the sun, and it’s easy for growth and success in our lives of faith to get overpowered as well.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭8 says, “But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; by pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report:”

If we follow God faithfully in all those situations and despite those sorts of difficulties, the next test is often to make sure we don’t bring ourselves down by our choices.

Verse 14 says, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

Let’s never let anything, even ourselves, overpower our testimony for Jesus. It would be a shame for us to ask others if they can see Jesus in our lives and them to have to tell us no!
