2 trails at once?

Fun hiking date today! Got about 4 1/2 miles at Caledonia, and at this point we were on the Rambler Trail and the Appalachian Trail at the same time.

It soon came to a point we had to choose (we didn’t have enough time to hike the whole Appalachian Trail!).

Sometimes God will take us in different directions (even several at the same time), but it’ll always come down to a choice between our way and God’s way.

1 Corinthians 16:5-9 says, “Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia. 6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go. 7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. 9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.”

The path God chose for Paul was busy and sometimes confusing, but always worth it.

We can’t go our way and God’s way at the same time, but when we allow God to direct our steps, we’ll always be headed somewhere worthwhile.
