What’s the most important part of a meal: What you eat or who you’re with?

Jen and I had a great meal together at Red Lobster recently. We did learn that we’re not mature enough to wear crab bibs! I tore my first one, and we laughed about them for a while!

The company was even better than the meal!

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11‬:‭34‬ ‭says, “And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.”

These Corinthians were observing the Lord’s Supper (Communion), but they were missing the point. They were focusing more on the meal than the meaning.

Any time we participate in the Lord’s Supper, our focus should be on Jesus and remembering His sacrifice on the cross for our sins.

In fact, we should focus on Jesus in everything we do.

‭‭ 1 Corinthians 10:31 in the chapter right before this challenges us with this thought: “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
