We’re grateful for our beautiful church, but the building doesn’t matter that much. We appreciate each person who comes to our church services, and what matters most is that we follow our Savior Jesus.
It’s sad what many churches pride themselves on.
1 Corinthians 5 records a really bad example. Verse 2 says, “And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.”
There was a sinful relationship in the church at Corinth, and they were proud of it!
In verse 13, the Apostle Paul tells them to “put away from among yourselves that wicked person.”
Instead of being proud of sin, let’s repent and get rid of sin, and let’s always start that process with ourselves and own sin.
