While I’ve never seen the actual road to Emmaus mentioned in the Bible, I know Jesus really did show up and walk with two guys on that road after He died for our sins and rose again.
I honestly just can’t relate to the question, “How do you know your God is the real God?” He’s the One Who shows up in so many ways!
Psalm 81:9-10 says, “There shall no strange god be in thee; Neither shalt thou worship any strange god. I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.”
The Bible records a ton of times God showed up. History records many more times. Nature shows God’s handiwork, and I hope you’ve experienced Him showing up in your own life.
No one is born an atheist. We’re all made in God’s image with a desire to know Him better. We all choose what we’ll do with what we know about God. Let’s choose to respond to God and recognize Him for Who He is and all He’s done for us.
