Yes that is absolutely a cake made of cotton candy! Except for a few marshmallows on top, that’s it: just puffy sugar!
It made her happy. We bought the “cake”!
I’m actually trying to cut back on sugar right now, so I might not eat any. But some things don’t have to be a problem or a big deal.
1 Corinthians 6:7-8 says, “Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? Why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.”
“Why do ye not rather take wrong?” Ouch!
How often do we push for our own way no matter what? How often do we fight when we should surrender because it’s just not worth it?
We should value people more than winning an argument or getting our way. We don’t always have to let ourselves be taken advantage of, but we do need to respond to situations Biblically no matter what.
