What’s growing?

It’s pool (maintenance) season! Kinda green yesterday but good to go again today.

Seems like if there’s any algae growing, even a little bit, we need to wipe it out completely or the whole pool will soon be green.

And it’s kind of the same with hope and doubt.

In Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬, the Apostle Paul says this about Jesus: “And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:”

‭‭

Paul is introducing his letter and describing Jesus as the foundation of his ministry.

In many ways, Paul’s ministry and our entire faith is built on hope from the hopeless. After all, Jesus died. For those days He was in the grave, things seemed hopeless. But they weren’t!

Hope and doubt are a matter of choice: What are we going to focus on? What are we going to let grow in our lives?

It’s ok to have doubts, but they need to be dealt with so they don’t grow.
