Not every downer is that easy to avoid, but through Jesus there is always real hope.
Romans 2:11-12 says, “For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;”
And verses 28-29 say, “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”
Jesus offers hope to Jews and Gentiles, to everyone. Sin will keep us from hope unless we come to Jesus.
Are we willing to change?
Are we willing to let Jesus change us?
Salvation is a one-time thing, but once we’re saved we have the opportunity to change and grow every single day.
