Jen’s been home for several days now, but we got to enjoy some family time today. The other day I posted a devotional with me and my girls both in person and on my T-shirt, so today I wanted to include Jen’s T-shirt and my T-shirts which both have the girls on them. Everyone in our family matters and it’s great to have everyone back together!
In Acts 27, the apostle Paul was on a ship headed toward Rome when a giant storm hit. They ended up in a shipwreck after fearing for their lives. I love what verse 37 says: “And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.”
Some were sailors. Some were soldiers. Some were prisoners. All needed Jesus, and Paul watched out for everyone. .
I wonder how many people on that ship Paul had witnessed to or would soon witness to after they crash landed on a nearby island.
The Bible makes it clear that Paul wanted everyone to hear about Jesus. He risked his life to share with everyone he could because he cared about everyone. It would’ve been easier to care only about some, but everyone mattered to Paul.
Do we care that much about everyone?
Are we taking every opportunity to share the love and hope only Jesus offers?
