Brooklyn: “Because I fight with my sister!”
Addison: “Because I’m bossy!”
Jen: “Because either I or they misunderstand something.”
Kent: “Nobody ever gets mad at me🤣 Just kidding! Probably too many reasons to list!”
Acts 5:17-18 says, “Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, and laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.”
Those religious leaders got mad at the apostles for speaking the truth about Jesus and doing miracles in Jesus’ name and through Jesus’ power.
If people get mad at us because we did something wrong, that’s on us.
And if people get mad at us because we did something good in a bad way (out of anger or pride…), that’s on us as well.
But if people get mad at us because we did the right thing the right way, that’s on them.
Let’s always examine our hearts and motives and actions, make any changes we need to, and keep going for Jesus even if it makes some people mad.
