It’s almost the end of the school year! Only 2 more weeks of picking the girls up in the afternoons until summer break!
Do you think that’s good news for students? Teachers? Parents?
I hope summer coming is good news. And I’m glad some things are definitely good news for us all.
Acts 3:25-26 says, “Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
Peter powerfully preached the Gospel that day.
The word Gospel means “good news.” He laid it out boldly, so I doubt all of it sounded like good news. But it was!
The good news isn’t that Jesus loves us enough to let us stay where we are spiritually.
The good news is that Jesus loves us enough to offer salvation, forgiveness, and hope if we will repent and believe on Him.
Have you accepted the good news of Jesus?
If so, who can you share that good news with today?
