Bigger and better

What do you think of that new pool the girls are standing in?

That might actually hold water, but obviously their actual pool behind them is much bigger and better than that!

Sometimes we find bigger and better things where we least expect them.

Acts 9:1-2 says, “And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.”

Saul (soon to be Paul) was full-throttle at persecuting Christians…until He met Jesus and realized Jesus’ plan is bigger and better.

Saul soon went from persecuting Jesus-followers to joining them and even leading the way to Jesus.

Acts 9:22-23 says, “But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ. 23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:”

Big difference! As a Jesus-follower, Saul (Paul) stood for the truth and lovingly tried to share the truth with everyone he could, even if they were anything but loving to him.

Saul went from trying to kill Christians to sharing the truth in a kind and loving way. That’s a bigger and better lifestyle!
